Forthcoming road improvements include the further widening of Buckner Lane south of Buckner Road by the City of Spring Hill, the extension of Buckner Road (to be renamed June Lake Boulevard upon completion) between Buckner Lane and Lewisburg Pike, and the completion of a new I-65/June Lake Boulevard interchange. Once completed, the new interchange will provide direct access from I-65 to Spring Hill and alleviate traffic congestion along major north-south corridors throughout the area.
The June Lake Subdivision will open in phases, starting with Phase 1 in early 2024. Phase 1 will include approximately 400 homes, as well as the community center, one park, and some retail shops and restaurants.
Phase 2 of the development is expected to begin construction in mid-2024, and will include an additional 500 homes, as well as a second park and more retail and restaurant space.
Phase 3 of the development is expected to begin construction in late 2024, and will include the remaining homes, as well as a third park and even more retail and restaurant space. The entire subdivision is expected to be completed by 2026.
Over the next 20+ years, June Lake is slated to comprise over 2,900 residential units, 3.9 million square feet of Class A office space, nearly 1.3 million square feet of retail and restaurant space and 400 hotel rooms.
